SNAP - Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

Formerly called Food Stamps, SNAP Food Benefits provides money (in the form of an electronic benefit transfer or EBT card) for food to individuals and families in need. Emergency or disaster SNAP benefits may also be available following hurricanes, tornadoes, severe storms, or flooding.
